As we approach the celebration of the birth of this wonderful nation, I finally decided that I needed to post the pictures from OLD GLORY COUNTRY FAIR.  Being my first year ever doing this show, I had absolutely no idea what to expect.  I had the time of my life and would honestly say that it is one of the best shows in Colorado.  I met new friends from all over the United States and saw old ones.  I was able to enjoy the days selling with my friends and family that were there for moral and lugging support.  I have to say that Holly Kuhn of OLD GLORY ANTIQUES (www.oldgloryantiquesinc.com) does a wonderful job making this event worth attending.  Thanks to Holly and all of the those involved in making it great.  I can hardly wait to do it next year.
As usual, Cathy from The French Flat had fabulous finds.
I was glad to be placed directly across from the girls from Patina.  As usual their booth was displayed as beautifully as their store.  The conveyor belt was, in my opinion, one of the coolest and most interesting things that I saw there.
These are just a few of the pictures of my space.  The Mines Hotel sign was rescued from a trash heap in Central City by a "junker" friend of mine.  It stands at 9' tall and was a prominant part of my booth (and is still up for grabs).

The first day was sunny and beautiful and we didn't see rain until late the second day, thank goodness.

"Qlutter's Last Stand" AKA the rescued bed spring will become a standard in the store and will always be chock full 'o goodies.  Stop in for the funky small stuff.

Check out the GMC front clip.  The lovely lady that bought it will turn it into a fireplace mantel (a good remake, remodel in my book).  It was gone within the first hour of market opening.
NOTE TO SELF...look for the really funky stuff for next year.

Last but not least, thanks to my very dear customer Raddy for the lovely hat.  She loaned me the one she is wearing for the first day and brought me the lovely black one to wear on the second day. It's all about the hat, right?

I love each and everyone of the lovely people in my life that have helped me in so many ways. I couldn't possibly fuel my passion or further my successes without all of you.  Thanks so much to you all!
Until we meet again.....  Amy  07/03/09
